Hey everyone!
First of all thank you for all the comments, emails, and just all of the sweet words and encouragement through my surgery recovery. It was all very greatly appreciated! I am feeling much better today, not 100% but very close!

My sweet girl is just growing like crazy! She is 5 months now and I am falling even more in love with her everyday. She is so so much fun! Right now, her big thing is feet. Hehe, she loves them. Weather it be mine, hers, or Daddy's...she loves them. It is to cute! If she gets laid down on her back, she instantly grabs those feet. I want to paint her toe nails so bad but as long as the feet go in her mouth, thats not going to happen.

One other thing that we have going on around here is the moving process. Yep, we will soon be moving to a little bit bigger home. Right now what we are in is a small two bedroom townhouse and we just need more room! Especially with Evie going to be crawling soon. Trust me, she already tries very hard! Well thats about all I've got for now! Enjoy the pictures and I'll have another update soon!

Olivia's Surgery & Evie's first cereal

Hey everyone, this is Olivia's husband here for an update. The surgery (see last post) was last Friday and everything is going very well! She is home and still recovering. Things are still pretty painful for her but today she is feeling much better than the first few days. She hopes to get an update up within the next couple of weeks...whenever our little Evie turns 5 months! Here are some pictures from last weekend. Evie had cereal for the first time! Enjoy everyone!

A sad discovery

Well, the past week has been a slow, painful, and very emotional one for me. I have been having severe pains in my stomach for almost two weeks now so I knew it was time to go to the doctor. I had known that I needed to go whenever the pains first started but I put it off because I feared the worst. Now, know that I have always had issues with my ovaries (ovarian cist) and it is a true miracle that I was able to conceive Miss Evie. That is why I have been putting off going to the doctor because I feared that word..hysterectomy. Well, after being x-rayed for this and scanned for that, the decision has been made that I do need to have a complete hysterectomy. This means that I will be having a serious surgery in one week and be out of commission for awhile. I will get my hubby to keep you all posted on how things are going and we will take plenty of pictures of Evie RuRu to show off. I have been a little down about all of this mostly because we were planning to try for another baby next year. Now, we will begin the adoption process the middle of next year. I am so excited that adoption is such an open option for us and I cannot wait to get it on the road. We still have a while but when the time is right, we will begin that journey to bring our little one home. I just wanted to let you all know what was going on. Prayers would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much!

Look at how big this tiny little princess is getting! She just melts my heart every time I see that beautiful smile that is now her Daddy made over. Thats right, she is a clone of her Daddy! I love it! Whenever I look at the two of them and see how much they resemble, I get overcome with joy that he is my husband and she is my daughter. I love them both with all of my heart!

This is how my little princess does every time she gets in the bath. Whether it be her little tub or the big tub, she just loves every second of it. I can't wait to get her in the pool this summer! With the weather we've been having, she'll probably be in it by early May. That is something we are really looking forward too!

Photo Friday...This was taken just this past weekend. She is in a onsie due to the incredible 75 degree weather that we've been having. I just love that smile :)

Its so funny how Evie is already such a girly girl. I know it sounds crazy because she is only 2 months old...but its so true. She likes to be handled very gently, not the least little bit to rough. If she is being moved around to much, she is instantly upset. We definitly are sure that rough housing and sports won't be her thing. She also loves to look at herself in the mirror...just like Mommy as her Daddy says. She is such a beautiful baby girl :)

I love the way...

she is so snuggly in my arms after a bottle.

she smiles when I tickle her cheeks.

she lays on her Daddy's chest every evening when he gets home.

my heart is filled with nothing but love when I look into her big eyes.

she can brighten up my day no matter what the situation.

she has her Daddy wrapped around her tiny little finger.

her tiny hands fit perfectly in my palm.

she crosses her legs when she is being fed.

her Daddy insist on rocking her every night at bedtime.

she looks at me every morning when I get her up.

I get to feel the love between a Mommy and a child.

God gave her to me.

These are just a few of the billion reasons that I am so in love with my little princess. I can't explain the feelings I get sometime when I look into those big curious eyes of hers. She warms my heart every second. I am one blessed Mommy!

One month already?

I am actually in awe as I sit here and write this post. I can't believe that my little Roo is already been here for one month. She is getting so big and really starting to do alot. I know that holding her head up, smiling, and making noise doesn't seem like very much but to a new mommy...it is. She has brought nothing but joy to my life. Every morning when I reach down and pick her up, I get a feeling of love and pride...prideful to be the mother to this little girl. She is such a great baby! She really doesn't cry unless she is hungry. Even through the night if she wakes up, she just lays very content in her bassinet and stares at her mobile. I would love to be able to blog about her more often but she sure does keep me busy. And then whenever I'm not busy, I just want to be with her. Right now she is sitting here with me in her activity seat just staring at me like "hey mommy, i'm down here." Those big eyes are very hard to look away from so I am going to spend some time with my little Princess. Here is a priceless picture from church yesterday!

Evie Roo's First Christmas & 3 Weeks Old

Today is my little Roo's first Christmas! It is such a special time of the year and having little miss Evie makes things even greater around here. Of course, she was spoiled with very many things that she doesn't really need but hey...that's the fun of having a baby! The present that really was a hit was her baby swing. Miss Evie loves being held so she has never been in a swing before but as soon as we got it started up this morning, it was a success. She just had the most content look as she looked around the room. It was to cute! If she could, I bet she would've laughed :)

Another special thing about today is that our little princess is 3 weeks old. Its crazy how fast the time has went by. She is already starting to get that older look instead of looking like every other tiny little baby. We have a very busy day today full of many people that are anxious to meet Evie Roo! Sleeep Update.

As many of you read in my last post, you know that our sweet little girl has had her days and nights confused for a little over a week now. The past 2 nights have actually went really well. I kept her up as much as I could during the day. Every time she would wake up to eat, after I fed her I would talk to her and try and keep her awake as long as possible. It really must be paying off because the past two nights have been pretty easy. Evie lays down in her bassinet at about 9 o'clock, wakes up at around 2 to eat and then again at about 6. After that she is usually up for a long while. I am hoping that this will continue but our schedule is going to be a little choppy the next few days with Christmas but it should be fine! Thank you for all the advice =]This picture was taken just last night after we got back from visiting some family. I thought it was to cute being that it was alot like the one of me and Miss Evie.

Hey everyone. This is the first time that I have really got to sit down and write a good post since my Evie has been born. Things are going great! She is 2 weeks old already. Time goes by so fast...so fast. She is really blossoming though and doing great. The only issue we are having right now is the fact that she has her nights and days confused terrible. She sleeps all day long and then at around ten or eleven, she's up for the night. Its starting to get to me as far as my sleeping. I'm just trying to keep her up as much as I can but she is only 2 weeks old, therefore, she is going to sleep. I hate that my first real post is me whining about how I need sleep and I don't want it to be like this but I'm just trying to seek a little advice from fellow mommys!Here is a picture of me and my LiL Bumpkin sound asleep. And yes...it was during the day!
